A well‑established building services and facilities maintenance provider is looking for a skilled Reactive Maintenance Engineer (Fabric) to join their team. The company supports a range of commercial properties, including offices, retail sites, healthcare facilities, schools, and mixed‑use buildings. Most work involves maintaining and repairing building fabric elements, ensuring sites remain safe, functional, and presentable.
Key Responsibilities
* General fabric maintenance, repairs, and small works across commercial sites
* Carpentry, joinery, and door repairs
* Basic plumbing and patch plastering
* Painting, decorating, and finishing tasks
* Attending reactive call‑outs for urgent building or fabric issues
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
* Strong, all‑round background in building fabric maintenance
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
* Flexibility for occasional out‑of‑hours work
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills
