The Supplier Relationship Manager (Not for Profit Charity) role is based in London or Glasgow, offering a salary of £45,000-£50,000. This privately funded organization seeks a charismatic procurement professional to develop best-in-class SRM. Since this position is newly created, the organization requires an influential individual with the gravitas to build stakeholder support and deliver significant value.
As Supplier Relationship Manager, you will:
* Develop and implement supplier relationship management strategies, policies, procedures, and systems in collaboration with stakeholders across all business units.
* Lead the development of SRM governance, processes, and tools to ensure standardized and consistent supplier management.
* Create procedures including supplier registration, performance evaluation, audits, and systems to manage suppliers and contractors.
* Support the procurement function through management of tools, processes, and documentation.
* Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
* Provide training and guidance to ensure effective supplier management, consistency, and risk mitigation.
Required background includes:
* Proven experience managing key supplier relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to oversee large, complex contracts, achieve financial benefits, and innovate in SRM.
* CIPS Diploma or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
