Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of Commercial Vehicles that are seeking a HGV Technician to carry out maintenance at their depot in Grantham on a rotating shift pattern. Responsibilities Carrying out repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance of HGV’s from the company’s depot in Grantham for customers in the surrounding areas Working closely with repairs teams in carrying out diagnostics of HGV’s Maintaining all related administrative tasks to include completion of records, documentation and paperwork Ensuring that the highest levels of Health & Safety, Compliance and quality are adhered to Working closely with the rest of the workshop team and the Manager Representing the company in a professional manner when communicating with customers Requirements In terms of experience, you will ideally be a qualified HGV Technician holding an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. It is also essential that you are able and willing to work a rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday working 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm on alternating weeks. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Grantham.
