Job Title: Engineering Coordinator (Temporary Contract)
Location: Caterham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
1. Schedule and allocate jobs to engineers based on availability, skillset, and location
2. Act as the main point of contact between engineers, clients, and internal teams
3. Monitor progress of ongoing works, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met
4. Update internal systems with job details, progress notes, and completion reports
5. Manage documentation including work orders, service reports, and compliance records
6. -Support the operations manager with day-to-day coordination and planning tasks
7. Handle urgent rescheduling or callouts as required
8. Track engineer hours, travel, and materials usage where applicable
9. Assist in maintaining health and safety and quality compliance
Skills & Experience
10. Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, or dispatching role (preferably within engineering, maintenance, or field service)
11. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Confident using Microsoft Office and scheduling/CRM software
14. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
15. A proactive approach to problem solving and attention to detail
