International Recruitment, Partnerships and Mobility The International Recruitment, Partnerships and Mobility (IRPM) team makes up part of the External Relations Directorate and has around 50 staff working in four key areas, spanning international student recruitment; global partnerships, short courses, and study abroad. The role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced international partnerships professional to join the International Recruitment and Partnerships team as Senior Global Partnerships and TNE Manager. This is a new role created to drive forward and support the development of global partnerships and commercial opportunities that align with the University’s mission and growth objectives. You will work strategically and commercially across the university to identify, develop and deliver international partnerships and business development opportunities globally as well as lead the service delivery and relationship management functions of the partnerships team. As a member of IRPM’s leadership team along with the Director and Deputy Director IRPM, you will play a key role in expanding and diversifying York's international partnerships across our priority markets by working collaboratively across academic departments and professional services teams. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is able to lead a team of partnership officers based both in the UK and in-country. You will collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams across the university, ensuring policy and process is efficient and there is a shared understanding of partnership objectives and priorities. Skills and experience needed Extensive experience of building and maintaining international partnerships Experience of shaping and delivering TNE projects Highly developed relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills Ability to identify; develop and implement commercial strategies to create sustainable revenue streams Knowledge of key markets for international higher education partnership delivery and growth Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects Experience of delivering targets with an institution-wide impact Please see the person specification for full details.
