As Production Manager, you will lead and develop a dedicated production team, ensure smooth day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, and play a key role in the site’s quality and compliance activities. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, supporting technical troubleshooting and ensuring all production activities meet the highest GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily leadership and line management to the production team, including coaching, performance management, and supporting staff development.
* Oversee and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
* Lead and support technical troubleshooting, working closely with engineering, QA, and technical teams to resolve production issues.
* Manage and contribute to deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and other GMP documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement across processes, workflow, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to GMP, HSE policies, and company procedures at all times.
* Support planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for production activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential:
* Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (required).
* Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience—this could be as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or someone ready to step up into a management role.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
Desirable:
* Experience leading CAPAs or managing change control processes.
What We Offer
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
* Opportunities for growth and development in a well‑established pharmaceutical organisation.
* A supportive and collaborative team culture.
* The chance to make a real impact on the quality and reliability of essential medicines
