Key Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive assessments of need and risk for children and their families. Formulate and implement effective care plans aimed at improving outcomes and preventing unnecessary family breakdown. Conduct child protection investigations in accordance with statutory frameworks and safeguarding policies. Engage directly with children to ensure their voices are reflected in assessments and care planning. Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver cohesive, well-rounded support packages. Maintain high standards of practice, supported by evidence-based assessments and professional references. Candidate Requirements A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in Local Authority children's social care (England). Proven experience in front-line child protection work and robust assessment of risk. Competence in direct work with children, ensuring child-centred approaches to planning and intervention. Strong multi-agency collaboration skills, with a clear understanding of inter-professional working practices.
