Due to an increase in workload throughout our fabrication workshop, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor. The successful candidate will work from technical drawings or verbal descriptions supplied by our management team and have a flexible approach to additional working hours to meet the demands of production.
Key Responsibilities
* Track jobs through the production process at each stage or build
* Control drawing documentation to ensure all drawings are issued, returned and cross‑referenced to manufactured sections
* Control high value consumables
* Manage project material ordering process for just‑in‑time deliveries
* Raise non‑conformance records & investigate issues
* Conduct quality checks of fabricated steel sections
Skills And Qualifications
* Proficient with MS Office 365, written reports and documentation
* Proven experience with steel fabrication workshop procedures
* Experience with steel sections & terminologies
* Experience of fabrication & welding
* Experience with fabrication drawings
* Methodical approach to work & able to self‑check and identify own omissions
* Motivated and driven

£40,000
Location
Ulverston, Cumbria
Schedule
* 10 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
This role is full‑time and permanent.
