Job Description
Red Rock Partnership is delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Lincoln who are currently on the lookout for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
* Provide supervision and guidance to warehouse personnel, ensuring they work efficiently and as a team.
* Assist in the training of new and existing staff to ensure they can carry out their duties to the required standard.
* Monitor staff performance and assist the Warehouse Manager in conducting performance reviews.
* Support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including ensuring efficient handling of stock, timely dispatch of customer orders, and adherence to health and safety standards.
* Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of product quality and packaging.
* Coordinate with couriers to ensure daily collections are made on schedule.
* Ensure all warehouse activities comply with the company's Health & Safety policies, including the safe use of equipment and proper manual handling techniques.
* Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, ensuring that storage areas are well organised and equipment is properly stored.
* Monitor stock levels in picking locations and assist in maintaining accurate records of stock movements.
* Assist in twice-yearly stocktakes and ensure proper preparation for these events.
* Ensure correct receipt of goods into stock and assist with the tracking and monitoring of stock levels.
* Liaise with the Warehouse Manager, office staff, and ecommerce team to ensure smooth coordination between departments.
* To perform other duties as and when required.
Working hours:
Monthly rotating -
Monday to Friday 6.00am - 14.30pm / 09.30am - 18.00pm
Pay rate :
£15 per hour
This is a permanent role.
About you:
* Candidates with a Counterbalance license is desirable, but not essential
* Supervisory experience is not essential
* Hardworking and reliable
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
* Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
