In this role, you will work on medicinal product projects and provide technical expertise to deliver self-care for everyone.
Scope of the Role
* Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to resolve complex product development and manufacturing issues.
* Provide technical support to internal and third-party departments.
* Lead technology transfer and NPI projects (mainly medicines) to contract manufacturing organisations in a pharmaceutical environment.
* Support and lead technical risk assessments, Q3D assessments, and nitrosamine assessments.
* Review process, packaging, and analytical validation protocols and reports.
* Liaise across all business functions to promote effective delivery of goals.
* Develop relationships with customers and service providers.
* Propose and review continuous improvements internally and externally.
* Manage projects involving modifications, upgrades, and technology transfer of medicinal products within the outsourced manufacturing supply chain, in line with GMP requirements.
* Gather, evaluate, and analyse data to support external technical operations.
* Conduct technical studies related to validation and other activities.
* Maintain current product manufacturing by providing technical support.
* Provide expert technical advice, review, and approve changes and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures, working in line with GMP requirements.
* Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Support a health and safety culture by complying with Perrigo Safety Policies and Procedures.
* Perform other duties as required to support Perrigo.
Experience Required
* Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent.
* Over three years’ experience in pharmaceutical process validation, formulation development, or analytical validation.
* Experience with technology tools and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
* Good communication skills and ability to contribute effectively in meetings at all levels.
* Organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and able to communicate with urgency when needed.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Goal-oriented with a drive to meet deadlines.
* Effective team player.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement strategies.
