Senior Support Worker
We are looking for a motivated Senior Support Worker to support our exceptional home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. This role involves delivering a range of care services including residential care, respite care, dementia care and convalescence care.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Proven experience of working in a care setting
* Good team player
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Genuine desire to care for others
Responsibilities
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
* Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
* Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
* Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
* Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
* Administer medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
