Who are The Casey Group?
We’re an award‑winning, Manchester‑based, family‑owned construction business with a clear purpose at the heart of everything we do: Improving Lives.
At Casey, we don’t just build projects – we create places that help people live, work and thrive. Our passionate team is driven by making a genuine, positive difference, not only through the spaces we deliver but through the impact we leave behind in the communities we serve.
Our work goes beyond the built environment. We champion local employment, skills development and sustainable practices, creating opportunities and better futures along the way. From apprenticeships and training to supporting local charities and delivering safe, welcoming environments, people always come first.
Our head office is based in a modern, purpose‑built building less than four miles from Junction 21 of the M62, offering convenient commuting and excellent transport links. Set in the countryside and surrounded by picturesque reservoirs, the office provides a calm, welcoming environment where people can focus on their work while remaining easily accessible.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager who is passionate about delivering high‑quality refurbishment and remediation projects and leading teams to success. This role is well suited to someone with a strong technical and construction background who enjoys being hands‑on, building trusted relationships, and taking ownership of complex works from start to finish.
You will bring proven experience in high‑rise environments, ideally across External Wall Insulation (EWI), fire remediation works, and major building refurbishments including kitchens and bathrooms, roofing replacements, sprinkler system upgrades, and dry risers. Confident and approachable, you will lead, manage, and motivate teams on site, using your strong people management and communication skills to drive performance, collaboration, and positive outcomes.
A solid understanding of the Building Safety Act is essential, alongside working knowledge of Gateways, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), and current compliance requirements. Experience or strong awareness of Decarbonisation, Retrofit, and PAS 2030 & 2035 standards is also required, reflecting the evolving nature of the sector and the importance of safe, sustainable delivery.
Commercially and contractually aware, you will be comfortable anticipating challenges, managing risk, and proposing practical, well‑considered solutions. You will demonstrate a consistent focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, taking pride in delivering work that meets both regulatory standards and client expectations.
Above all, we are looking for a collaborative and forward‑thinking professional who values continuous improvement, embraces training and development, and brings analytical thinking and practical problem‑solving skills to everything they do.
