We are currently looking for an experienced Resident Engagement Officer to support the delivery of resident engagement activities across a housing service. This Resident Engagement Officer role will focus on ensuring compliance with consumer standards, supporting tenant engagement programmes and capturing resident feedback to inform service improvement.
The successful candidate will support engagement activities, tenant forums and satisfaction initiatives while ensuring the organisation can evidence compliance with the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard. This Resident Engagement Officer position would suit someone with previous experience within resident engagement, tenant participation or social housing.
The Role
- Supporting delivery of resident engagement activities and tenant participation programmes.
- Supporting compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards, particularly the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard.
- Supporting tenant forums, focus groups and resident engagement events.
- Preparing agendas, reports, meeting papers and engagement documentation.
- Gathering, recording and analysing tenant feedback and engagement outcomes.
- Producing impact reports and engagement performance information.
- Supporting the delivery of Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and resident feedback frameworks.
- Working with housing teams to ensure resident feedback informs service improvements.
- Producing resident communications including newsletters, annual reports and website content.
- Supporting complaints monitoring and compliance with statutory timescales.
Key Requirements
- Experience working within resident engagement, tenant participation or housing services.
- Knowledge of the Regulator of Social Housing Consumer Standards.
- Experience supporting tenant forums, focus groups or resident engagement activities.
- Experience gathering, analysing and reporting on resident feedback.
- Experience producing engagement reports, newsletters or resident communications.
- Experience supporting Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs).
- Understanding of housing complaints processes.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
