We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team and manage ourhotel restaurant. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role in a hotel environment, who hasexcellent communication skills, an eye for detail, good organisational skills and team leadership skills. In this position you will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager.

Working pattern : Shift work 5 days on 2 days off
Salary : £32,500 per year + service charge

The Milestone Hotel and Residences part of the Red Carnation Hotels, is a beautiful five star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.
Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Restaurant Manager:
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
Lead and manage the team on the floor, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent service delivery.
Assist the Restaurant Manager in training and developing the team, ensuring staff members are skilled and motivated to perform their best.
Participate in suggestive selling activities, helping to maximize guest satisfaction and sales opportunities.
Maintain high levels of communication and collaboration between the restaurant team to ensure seamless service.
Take part in monthly stocktakes and departmental meetings, contributing to the operational efficiency of the restaurant.
Assist in managing guest relations, addressing any concerns, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or luxury restaurant environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and lead a team effectively.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for maintaining high standards in both service and presentation.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership abilities with experience in motivating and developing a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
