Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work in schools in The Vale of Glamorgan, Barry & Penarth. We have both full-time and flexible supply opportunities available.
A rewarding role where you’ll play a vital part in helping pupils achieve their academic, social, and emotional potential.
The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs
* Assist pupils within the ALN base and during mainstream lessons
* Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
* Help implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Promote inclusion and independence
We Are Looking for Candidates Who:
* Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
* Are patient, nurturing, and resilient
* Can build positive and trusting relationships
* Are confident supporting pupils with varying needs
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
* Are adaptable and proactive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
