Production/Planning Manager

A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production/Planning Manager to join its team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of production operations within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the production schedule for electrical panel assembly, coordinating with transport teams to achieve on-time, in-full delivery targets. They will also lead a team of approximately 30 operatives and panel wirers, driving performance and adherence to schedules while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee reliable and efficient manufacturing processes aligned with agreed KPIs.
2. Deliver against stringent OTIF (On Time In Full) targets.
3. Execute production plans, ensuring quality and delivery expectations are met.
4. Conduct daily production meetings, logging and closing actions effectively.
5. Perform root cause analysis and resolve operational issues.
6. Ensure strict compliance with health and safety procedures.
