Finance Manager – Sleaford (Hybrid) - £45,000 - £50,000 Benjamin Edwards are currently recruiting for a highly organised and detail-focused Finance Manager for an award-winning organisation in Sleaford As Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting to the business. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll bring clarity to the numbers, strengthen financial performance and help shape decision-making in a business that’s passionate about growth, quality and impact. This role would suit a qualified accountant from practice looking to make their first move into industry, or a management accountant with full P&L and balance sheet ownership who’s ready for a broader, more influential role. What’s on offer to the Finance Manager: Hybrid working Enhanced holidays Health & wellbeing program Great working culture The role of the Finance Manager: Lead the month-end close, producing high-quality management accounts, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Own supplier accounts, intercompany balances, accruals and prepayments Drive the annual budget and rolling forecasts in partnership with the senior finance team and operational teams Deliver insightful analysis across revenue, funding, pricing and costs — identifying trends, risks and opportunities early Challenge assumptions and provide commercial insight that improves decision-making Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register Support statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes Liaise with auditors and external advisors to ensure a smooth and compliant year-end Strengthen internal controls and promote best practice across the Group Monitor cash flow and working capital closely Partner with budget holders to build financial awareness, ownership and accountability Develop and maintain meaningful financial and non-financial KPIs Deliver ad hoc analysis that drives tangible business improvement The ideal candidate for the role of Finance Manager: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred). Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within a multi-site or service-based environment Strong Excel and analytical skills — you enjoy turning data into insight Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple deadlines A confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills — able to challenge constructively and collaborate effectively
