A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join their team, supporting the delivery of several high-profile, technically complex projects across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of schemes within the science, technology, and specialist infrastructure sectors, ranging in value from £35M to £80M+, all currently live and running through to 2027–2029.
The Role
As Building Services Manager, you will take full responsibility for the coordination, installation, and commissioning of all MEP services across multiple projects.
You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure building services are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of MEP design coordination and delivery
* Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed to specification
* Drive programme and ensure key milestones are achieved
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and health & safety standards
* Lead on commissioning, handover, and client engagement for building services
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with MEP packages
About You
* Proven experience as a Building Services Manager or Senior MEP Manager with a Main Contractor
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience delivering complex new build projects (ideally within science, tech, or high-spec environments)
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Relevant qualifications in Building Services Engineering or similar
