Overview Of This Position
Covering Slough and the local area, you'll buddy up with engineers on-site, replacing parts and helping to keep customer fleets moving with minimal disruption.
Service Engineer Responsibilities Include
* Buddy up with an experienced service engineer and travel to clients.
* Swap out service-ready components on electric vehicles as part of scheduled maintenance.
* Carry out changeovers on air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration, and heating/cooling systems.
* Utilise a handheld PDA system for logging work, tracking tasks, and team communication.
Service Engineer Desirable Skills And Education
* Experience in a similar role - MOT tester, vehicle technician, mechanic, automotive technician.
* Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC, or degree desirable).
* Basic hands‑on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects, or work-based).
* Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions, and assembly procedures.
* Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
