22.12 hrs per week Permanent Contract
The Governor Support Assistant & Clerk posts sits within the Governor Support Services team and forms an integral part of the Education Department, contributing to raising school governance standards.
We are a friendly and committed team; supporting and advising volunteers and head teachers in their governor role.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent administrator who can demonstrate:-
good organisational skills,
excellent communication and inter-personal skills,
excellent IT skills,
strong attention to detail
ability to work to tight deadlines,
experience of working within prescribed guidelines
a flexible approach to working hours,
a passion to support volunteers
good minutes taking
Welsh language skills are desirable.
The main office location is Crown Buildings, Wrexham, however agile working (a combination of home based and office based working) is available for this role.
Occasional evening work may be required to attend and minute meetings and in return we can offer flexible hours around the needs of the service.
