Job summary

We are delighted to be able to recruit to 2 x band 6 Haematology charge nurse posts on ward 44, within Manchester Royal Infirmary. There will be 2 posts, 1 x full time post, 37.5 hours per week and 1 part time post, 23 hours per week.

The expected hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week or 23 hours per week, working :00, Monday - Sunday, including night rotation and bank holidays.

Applications with Haematology experience is desirable but not essential.


Main duties of the job

Your role will involve working clinically within the Haematology department as a clinical band 6. Your role will be an integral part of the Haematology department and you will be expected to contribute to educational sessions. You will also be expected to contribute towards accreditation and Jacie requirements, take part in IQP work and maintain standards within the unit.
