L3Harris Trenchant’s expertise is the by-product of the acquisition of two highly-regarded information security businesses – Azimuth Security and Linchpin Labs. United under L3Harris Trenchant, we are a key component of L3Harris’ Intelligence and Cyber International Division. We are a trusted, discrete partner furnishing security products, consultancy, training and integration services to allied security, defense, and law enforcement agencies.

The Customer Engagement and Field Engineer Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, performance and growth of Trenchant in the UK. The role involves recommending and implementing business development strategies to achieve short to long-term business goals, as well as providing first class customer support. Additionally, the Customer Engagement Lead will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. This role will also include a field engineer component to demonstrate Trenchant products to customers as well as support them in their mission use of the product suite.

Essential Functions:

1. In line with the corporate direction, execute UK strategic plans to meet Trenchant goals.
2. Responsible for the financial performance of Trenchant in the UK.
3. Develop deep and professional relations with all UK customers.
4. Establish networks with appropriate customer leadership.
5. Represent the UK customers as a stakeholder in key business decisions.
6. Frequent collaboration with key stakeholders from senior management, Product Delivery and Engineering teams to ensure the business is aligned with customer requirements.
7. Serve as a UK Field Engineer, providing technical expertise and product support with a focus on enabling UK customer outcomes.

Qualifications:

8. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
9. 3+ years of management experience.
10. Prior experience working in, or supporting Computer Network Operations teams
11. Recent and relevant experience (within last 3 years) working in a technical fieldie. Software engineering, IT
12. Prior experience with Defense, Intelligence, Law Enforcement or Cyber companies.
13. Ability to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance and hold UK citizenship for security purposes

Preferred Additional Skills:

14. Experience using Computer Network Operations software and tools.
15. Experience with commercial business models.
16. Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
17. Strong interpersonal skills.
18. Highly self-motivated, innovating, and self-confident.
