The Role
The firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ+) to join its Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team, handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
The role offers high-quality work, early responsibility, and direct client contact, with clear opportunities for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
Managing contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims
Advising on disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues
Drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies, and procedures
Advising on dismissals, redundancy processes, and restructures
Advising on and negotiating settlement agreements
Supporting senior team members on complex and strategic matters
Developing and maintaining strong client relationshipsCandidate Requirements
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ+)
Solid grounding in employment law gained during training or post-qualification
Strong drafting and communication skills
Ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
Commercial, pragmatic, and client-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
