Area: Manchester Salary: Up to 33K (depending on experience) Our Client has a fantastic permanent opportunity to join their import team A successful applicant will assist the Manager and Supervisor in the day to day running of a busy Import department. A keen eye for detail along with the ability to help produce high quality, accurate work in a fast paced often pressured environment will be required. Responsibilities: Arranging collections and deliveries: Organizing the transportation of goods from the origin to the final destination. Handling invoices and payments: Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment for services. Resolving discrepancies and delays: Investigating and resolving any issues or delays that may occur during the import process. Providing customer service: Keeping customers informed about the status of their shipments and addressing any inquiries, and prepare quotations to clients as and when necessary Working with customs systems: Demonstrating a good working knowledge of ASM / Seqouia systems Preparing accurate and compliant Customs entries. Requirements: Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment Ability to prepare accurate Customs Entries Be able to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively Education/Qualifications Educated to GCSE Grade 4 ( English / Maths ) All applicants should be computer literate and have at least two years experience of working within an import environment. Experience within an operation of an ETSF facility is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
