Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. FRCR (or overseas equivalent)
2. Recognised Medical Degree
Registration
Essential criteria
3. On GMC registered Medical Practitioner GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT
Knowledge & Expertise
Essential criteria
4. Broad based general professional training in general medicine
5. Comprehensive training and experience in general imaging
6. Comprehensive training and experience in general imaging with a focus on Paediatric
Teaching
Essential criteria
7. Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff
Research/ publications
Essential criteria
8. Proven ability to carry out and present research projects
9. Presentations at National meetings
Management & Audit
Essential criteria
10. A broad understanding of the management role of a consultant and mechanisms
11. Knowledge of finance/budgets
