NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager (Band 8C) to provide senior leadership for the National Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Programme.
This is a highprofile role leading one of the most significant national digital transformation programmes in Scotland, supporting safe, modern, and resilient laboratory services that are fundamental to patient care and clinical decisionmaking.
The post is offered on a fixedterm basis for the duration of the National LIMS Programme, reflecting the scale, complexity, and criticality of the work.
As Programme Manager National LIMS, you will provide endtoend leadership and accountability for delivery of the National LIMS Programme. The programme is at a pivotal stage, requiring strong, visible leadership to maintain momentum, ensure grip over delivery, and manage a complex national supplier relationship.
You will function as the senior focal point for programme governance, delivery assurance, stakeholder engagement, and risk management, working closely with Health Boards, national partners, clinicians, digital teams, and senior executives.
This role operates at a strategic level and requires credibility, authority, and experience to lead across organisational boundaries and at pace.
