Our 28-bed Adult Inpatient Unit offers specialist palliative and end-of-life care to adults with life-limiting conditions across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. We provide both short-term symptom management and support in the final stages of life. You’ll be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care that focuses on dignity, comfort, and compassion — every step of the way.
🩺 What You’ll Be Doing
* Delivering outstanding physical, emotional, and spiritual care tailored to each patient
* Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a multi-professional team
* Leading shifts and supervising healthcare staff in the absence of senior nurses
* Participating in quality improvement, audits and continuous development
* Maintaining professional, accurate documentation in line with NMC and hospice policy

* NMC registration (RGN)
* A passion for palliative or complex care (experience desirable but not essential)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work flexibly across days and nights as part of a supportive team
* A commitment to professional development and delivering high standards of care

Hours: 37.5 hours a week – Part Time considered
Salary: £31,164 – £36,173 FTE per annum
