Senior Town Planner - Sheffield - £40,000 to £45,000 + Bonus

ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a national construction and development company with an expanding in-house planning team. Delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects across the UK, they combine commercial strength with a collaborative, localised approach. Their Sheffield office is now looking to recruit a Senior Town Planner to help manage and deliver planning strategy across a range of development sites in the region.

THE SENIOR TOWN PLANNER ROLE:
You'll lead on planning applications, appraisals, and stakeholder engagement for rural, green infrastructure, residential and mixed-use developments. Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of planning permissions across multiple sites. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to site assessments, appeals, and input into wider project strategies.
SENIOR TOWN PLANNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MRTPI qualified or working towards
Previous experience in consultancy, developer, or local authority environment
Excellent communication and project coordination skills
In-depth understanding of the English planning system
Proactive and organised, with a commercially aware mindset
