The Sight Loss Counselling team provides counselling and emotional support over the phone and online to people who are impacted by sight loss. Our client group is diverse with the majority of clients being over the age of 50. We also offer our service to children and young people, run training on Sight Loss Counselling, deliver workshops on the emotional impact of sight loss, and facilitate short-term support groups for people with sight loss and their friends and families. We are now recruiting for this exciting role.
This role will provide high quality time-limited counselling and emotional support over the telephone and online to people who are affected by sight loss, including working with young people and children. The role will involve holding a case load, line managing 4 counsellors and actively contributing to our service developments in a leading position.
