TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Swindon that is seeking to appoint an English Teacher for the new academic year. The school provides a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential, with a strong focus on academic success and personal development.
The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 to KS5, planning and assessing student progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
The successful English Teacher will have:
• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A passion for delivering high-quality English lessons
• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching
