A vacancy has arisen for the post of a Mental Health Support Worker within the Adult Community Mental Health Team in Inverness.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Mental Health environment and will be required to possess SVQ level 3 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent. The role can involve both individual work with service users and co-delivery of group activities, within mental health facilities, online or in the wider community. We are looking for a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication skills both verbally and written, who is able to work well on their own and also as part of a busy multi-disciplinary team to deliver a safe, effective, recovery focused, person-centre quality service which promotes the quality of life and maximises independence for all service users. The applicant should be keen to develop new skills and have the ability to manage own time and workload effectively and have the ability to maintain clear boundaries.
Eligibility and visa
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
