We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RMN/RGN) to lead and support the care team on our Dementia Community. At Spellman Care it’s a priority for us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences, all delivered with dignity, compassion and kindness.
Key Responsibilities of a Dementia Community Unit Manager
* Act in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct
* Coordinate the planning and implementation of care
* Manage and monitor service delivery
* Deliver hands-on person-centred care
* Maintain accurate records with our electronic care plans
* Safe administration of medication
* Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate care through developing individualised care plans and detailed risk assessments for residents
* Ensure Residents receive care that promotes choice, dignity and respect
* Involvement in working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals
* Lead and supervise a team of care workers, including undertaking supervisions & appraisals, and mentor new staff
To succeed as a Unit Manager you will be
* Registered with the NMC and hold a valid PIN
