The Role
This role will assess and process applications to Household Support Fund, assessing customers entitlement for cost-of-living support.
The job role provides support to residents to help with immediate cost-of-living needs and connect with wider services to improve long term financial resilience.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience of either undertaking financial or needs based assessments, and/or of providing support or advice and information-based services to members of the public including vulnerable people.
You will be able to respond quickly and positively to customer enquiries and have the ability to work to agreed procedures.
You will have experience of working with IT applications and spreadsheets and have excellent keyboard and IT skills.
You will have previous experience dealing with complex enquiries and customer contact, in a customer services environment across a range of channels.
You will have an understanding and commitment to Equal Opportunities and can converse at ease with service users/customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
