Automation Engineer | 6 Month Contract | Glasgow | £- p/day
We're looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major financial client on a contract basis. This role focuses on the development side of automation, building robust frameworks and tooling that streamline post-code release processes and enhance software delivery.
Location: Glasgow (5 days onsite)
Contract: 6 Months (IIR35)
Rate: £- p/day
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, build, and maintain automation solutions in Java & Spring Boot
2. Focus on post-release automation to improve deployment and delivery
3. Collaborate closely with developers and testers to optimise release processes
4. Ensure frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and performant
Key Skills:
5. Strong hands-on coding experience in Java (essential)
6. Proficiency with Spring Boot
7. Solid background in automation within software engineering environments
8. Ability to develop tools that support and improve release cycles
9. Strong problem-solving mindset and collaboration skills
10. Experience in financial services is essential
