Base pay range
£45,000 – £55,000 (Greater Manchester, UK; Hybrid)
What You’ll Do
* Lead seasonal supplier and product strategy reviews, analysing data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and maximise commercial potential.
* Contribute to a forward‑thinking strategy that balances style, quality, ethical standards, and profitability.
* Identify new sourcing opportunities, materials, products, territories, and operational solutions to strengthen the brand and deliver exciting assortments.
* Anticipate challenges, close gaps, and bring fresh ideas to how products are developed, sourced, and delivered.
* Manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring transparency, trust, and innovation at every stage.
* Apply ethical and compliance checks to ensure suppliers meet the brand’s standards.
* Work closely with buying, tech and merchandising teams to validate suppliers, secure competitive pricing, and ensure business cases are sound.
* Lead projects to implement new processes or solutions, coordinating multiple teams to bring initiatives to life.
* Guide new suppliers through first orders and ongoing collaboration, troubleshooting and resolving challenges to maintain smooth delivery.
* Stay ahead of evolving legislation.
* Partner with teams to maintain high standards for ethical sourcing, stock quality, and environmental responsibility.
* Act as a key point of contact for supplier performance, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision and commercial goals.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a buyer, merchandiser, or commercial product manager.
* Strong commercial acumen and confidence in driving range decisions, supplier negotiations, and cost structures.
* Interest in ethical sourcing, sustainability, and ESG compliance, with the ability to implement best practice across partners.
* Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
* Analytical, strategic, and proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail.
