Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Levenshulme)
Start Date: September | Daily Rate: £89.38 – £100 | Full-Time
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September.
In this role, you will work closely with students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing tailored support in and out of the classroom to help them access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with EHCPs
* Assist teachers in adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs
* Foster positive relationships with students to build confidence and motivation
* Monitor progress and contribute to review meetings and reports
* Promote inclusion and a positive learning environment across the school
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting
* A patient, compassionate and flexible approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive education (desirable)
