Identify event objectives and requirements (venue, budget, theme, audience, logistics). Coordinate all event logistics — venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, transportation, and accommodation. Manage registration processes and delegate communication. Manage all aspects of the Meetings & Events Sales Department Maximise meetings & events revenue and profit through reactive and pro-active selling techniques and commercial management techniques. Previous experience with Opera is prefered. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Strong time management and leadership skills. High attention to detail. At least 6 months in a similar role Ability to manage high-end events of all types. A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences. Prior conferencing and events experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn. Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues. A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation. Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
