The Department of Psychology is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants for the 25-26 academic year. In this role you will: assist within a teaching team and work within an established teaching programme under general supervision within the Department of Psychology. manage and deliver teaching activities and prioritise your own workload within agreed objectives to ensure that all activities are completed to deadlines. assess student progress and provide feedback to students, setting and marking assignments with appropriate supervision. build on previous experience and use critical evaluation of professional practice to develop skills and knowledge. communicate effectively with the teaching & learning team and show good team working. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: demonstrate appropriate subject knowledge and communication skills to effectively fulfil the required the teaching duties. effectively plan and prioritise your own workload, including preparation of teaching materials. effectively assess and mark student coursework and provide feedback.
