Tanyfron Primary Care is looking for a 6-7 session (negotiable) salaried GP to join our team, delivering high-quality primary care services to our patients, contributing to the provision of comprehensive healthcare in line with NHS Wales guidelines and practice policies. Main duties of the job
To provide a wide range of general medical services to patients, developing and maintaining a positive doctor-patient relationship.
You will be working with a supportive, well-resourced, multi-disciplinary team that includes a Senior GP Partner, two salaried GPs, GP registrar, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Paramedic Practitioner, five practice nurses, three HCAs, Pharmacist, two Pharmacy Technicians and administrative staff. Our pharmacy team play a key role in managing hospital discharges and clinic correspondence. We are located within a health board building, which provides integrated working with the different teams and outpatient department situated within the building.
You will provide a combination of 10-minute telephone calls and 15-minute face-to-face consultations throughout the day. On-call duties are shared fairly across the team, usually once a week or less, and home visits are minimal.
You will be expected to complete accurate and timely medical records, and keep up to date with developments in general practice, attending relevant training courses, meetings and clinical updates.

* Full UK driving licence.
* MRCGP (happy to accept applications from those awaiting CCT).

* Experience working within Primary Care.
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience of continued professional development.
* Experience with clinical risk management
* General understanding of Primary Care GMC contract.
* Experience with audits and ability to lead audit programmes.
* Experience of Medicines Management.
