Our manufacturing client is looking to appoint an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager.
The Logistics & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse, managing the relationships with 3PL providers to ensure the smooth planning and delivery and dispatch of goods, driving continuous improvement within the warehouse operations to support the growth plans of the company.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a successful warehouse team to achieve departmental goals and KPI’s
* Managing the movement of materials and goods within the UK and Europe
* Build and manage relationships of 3PL Logistics Providers through regular reviews
* Maintain stock accuracy and inventory control using the MRP systems.
* Working closely with colleagues in Supply Chain and Purchasing
* Drive continuous improvement throughout the department
* Maintain H&S and safe working within the department
Skills & experience:
* Proven Logistics experience and management of 3PL Partnerships
* Proven previous experience managing successful warehouse teams
* Experience in logistics within the UK and Europe
* Strong people manager who enjoys motivating and developing teams and a positive culture.
* MRP experience – SAP would be highly advantageous
* A Self-Manager
* Passion for driving continuous improvement
