Overview
We welcome applications from individuals of any age, gender or background. What matters is that you want to make a real, practical contribution to protecting the environment. You’ll enjoy working outdoors in all weathers in a physically demanding job. The work is varied and involves taking environmental samples from rivers, boreholes, residential and commercial businesses. You will be working alone for the majority of the time but also sometimes part of a close team surveying fish populations. You will be trained to collect samples using relevant equipment and entering data on a smartphone or tablet. The job involves being outdoors on most days and includes carrying samples and equipment, driving, lifting and working in and near water.
