Provide specialist HR support to the UK business including multiple contracts; responsible for ensuring a content and productive workforce where employees are empowered to meet established objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridge management and employee relations addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
• Manage compensation and benefits including payroll.
• Develop and monitor HR processes and procedures across the organization.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Manage company ERP system and recruitment tools
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensure legal compliance.
Key Accountabilities
• Plan, coordinate and supervise the employment of new employees.
• Design and keep all HR related policies, processes, procedures up to date.
• Monitor employee performance records to identify scope of improvement.
• Shape and maintain a positive organization culture.
• Mediate in conflict resolution.
Requirements
Qualifications
• HR professional qualification preferable (CIPD L5 Desirable).
• Degree educated preferred not essential.
• Pragmatic and considered approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ideally experience of operating in the defense / aerospace sector or within a company with a strong emphasis on the highest corporate governance and compliance standards.
• 5 years plus experience and understanding of HR fundamentals.

Requirements
Qualifications · Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeship · Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent. · Experienced and competent leader at this level. · Requires a minimum of 2 years working at Technician level prior to undertaking a Supervisor role. · Demonstrating breadth of experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) of skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft type or in bays.
