Milk Education is partnering with welcoming primary and secondary schools who are seeking graduates with strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a passion for supporting young people.
Whether your background is Theatre/Drame/Performing Arts, your skills are in high demand for roles such as SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, and Creative Learning Support Assistant.
The Role
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–15:30
Start Date: Flexible
Contract: Week-by-week initially, with long-term opportunities available
You will:
1. Support pupils with a range of SEN needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, communication needs, behavioural challenges)
2. Work 1:1 or in small groups to build confidence, emotional regulation, and engagement
3. Use strategies from psychology, education or drama to support behaviour, communication, and learning
4. Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, creative lessons
5. Help pupils develop routines, social skills, and positive behaviour
6. Build trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency and encouragement
7. Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
17. A degree in Psychology, Education, Drama, Performing Arts, or similar
18. Experience with children, SEN or vulnerable young people (desirable)
19. Patience, empathy, resilience, and a passion for empowering young people
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
No formal TA qualifications required.
