The opportunity
Our Murray Vale Shalem Facility in Lavington is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting the community and making a positive impact in residents' lives. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a beautiful, natural setting.
This is a part-time overnight shift opportunity.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based, resident-focused care that meets the needs of care recipients.
* Assist residents in leading an active and meaningful life with as much independence as possible.
* Serve as a role model for staff, offering guidance and support on clinical best practices for resident care.
* Report to the Facility Manager and take on specific projects as assigned by the Facility Manager, Clinical Manager, or Nurse Supervisor/Consultant.
About you
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience.
* Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (all applications).
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport.
* Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in accordance with strict guidelines and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities.
* Skilled in time, task, and priority management.
* Previous experience in Residential Aged Care is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with LeeCare, Medsig, and other relevant systems (desirable).
* Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
