Overview
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bridge Wire Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision welding of small components using resistance welding techniques, ensuring high-quality and reliable welds in accordance with industry and company standards. This position requires attention to detail, steady hands, and experience working with fine materials and micro-welding equipment.
Responsibilities
* Perform micro resistance welding on small components, including metals such as stainless steel, nickel, and copper.
* Set up and operate micro-welding equipment, including resistance spot and seam welding machines.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in welding processes.
* Inspect welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications using magnification tools, microscopes, or precision measuring instruments.
* Adjust welding parameters such as current, pressure, and time to optimize weld quality.
* Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure consistent performance.
* Work under a microscope or magnification when needed for intricate welding tasks.
* Follow safety procedures and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Maintain accurate records of welding parameters, inspections, and quality checks.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve welding defects.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in welding is a plus).
* Minimum 1-3 years of experience in micro resistance welding or precision welding.
* Experience working in industries such as electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or precision manufacturing is .
* Knowledge of resistance spot welding (RSW), seam welding, and projection welding techniques.
* Familiarity with welding standards and quality control procedures (e.g., AWS, ISO, or MIL-SPEC standards).
