What You'll Be Doing
You'll be part of a multi-skilled Ophthalmology Outpatient team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of Ophthalmic specialties
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Ophthalmic Technician and will welcome any forward thinking, caring individual who is committed to providing a high standard of patient care to our patients.
You must display excellent communication skills and be confident to deal with patients, families, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team.
You will be given the appropriate training to undertake specific Ophthalmic investigations under the instruction and supervision of clinicians and nurse in charge.
Essential:
1. Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
2. Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
4. Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
5. Mentoring or teaching qualification
