This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident leading people, driving performance, and challenging processes to achieve results. As the Team Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the area, ensuring the production plan is delivered safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You will lead your team from the front, manage priorities, and work collaboratively across departments to deliver operational excellence. Performance Objectives Lead and supervise day-to-day operations within the assembly area. Ensure production targets are met in line with the production schedule and business priorities. Effectively allocate and prioritise work across the team to maximise efficiency and output. Act as a strong people leadermanaging performance, addressing employee issues, and supporting development. Build positive working relationships while confidently challenging internal stakeholders where necessary to improve outcomes. Liaise with internal departments to ensure resources, materials, and outputs are aligned to business needs. Use manufacturing systems to manage work orders, stock levels, and production priorities. Drive and embed continuous improvement (Lean principles) within the department. Identify and escalate quality concerns, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times. Person Specification Minimum 5+ years experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (automotive or similar preferred). Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced setting. Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in handling employee matters and performance management. Ability to prioritise workload effectively and make decisions under pressure. Confident in challenging processes and internal customers to drive improvements. Experience in assembly or kitting environments is advantageous. Familiar with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices. IT proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems).
