We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CT Clinical Lead to join our team at the South Tyneside & Sunderland Integrated Diagnostic Centre.
This role is suitable for an existing service lead or an experienced Senior CT Radiographer looking to move into a clinical lead role, demonstrating transferable skills aligned with this position.
You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.
As a Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to align all aspects of the service.
Ideally, we prefer applicants with some previous team leadership or management experience, along with knowledge of service development and delivery.

You must demonstrate:
Compliance and Qualifications:
* Highly developed specialist knowledge of your area of expertise, supported by practical experience
* Awareness of and compliance with Alliance Medical Policies and Procedures, Radiation Regulations (IRMER, IRR 99, and EPR 2010, if applicable), CQC requirements, and Health and Safety legislation
* Awareness of Data Protection and Patient Confidentiality
* Mandatory training and refresher courses to ensure ongoing compliance
Experience required includes:
* BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working with both inpatient and outpatient demands
* Postgraduate training in specialized CT field (advantageous)
* IV Cannulation Certificate
* Evidence of additional responsibilities
* IT literacy
* HCPC registration
* Enhanced DBS clearance
You will be responsible for the daily operation of the CT service, including rota planning, performance reviews, site/service meetings, audits, investigations, protocol optimization, and management. You will support the Service Manager in ensuring high standards of service delivery and CQC compliance.
