Job Description: We are looking for a Network Administrator to support transport, warehouse, and customer service operations. The role involves managing documentation, resolving delivery and stock issues, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth communication across teams-all while maintaining safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, data input, and document preparation.
* Manage incoming and outgoing communications via phone, email, and customer systems, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Prepare and run operational reports such as KPIs and daily/weekly/monthly summaries for internal and customer meetings.
* Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, providing updates and resolutions while maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders.
* Liaise with customers, delivery depots, and internal teams to ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
* Process and manage paperwork related to warehouse and transport operations, including driver documentation and PODs.
* Monitor stock control, investigate discrepancies, and produce weekly stock reports for invoicing and operational accuracy.
* Track delivery performance, including driver monitoring and rebooking of rejected or failed deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with all company HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
* Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and injuries promptly using the appropriate systems (e.g., Intelex).
* Collaborate with the wider Network Operations team to support smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a positive working environment.
* Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Network Service Supervisor or depot leadership team.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a transport or warehouse environment is advantageous, but not essential.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Critical attention to detail and ability to meet daily deadlines.
* Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
* Proficiency in MS packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
