Overview
We’re now looking for a Business Development Manager – UK South to drive growth, expand our market share, and build strong, lasting customer relationships across the region. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you’ll take responsibility for sales strategy, customer engagement, and pipeline growth in both established and emerging markets. This is a role for someone with proven success in delivering revenue growth and a passion for developing solutions that make a measurable difference for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Building and expanding sales pipelines across the UK South.
* Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing customer relationships.
* Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
* Driving operational excellence and monitoring customer satisfaction.
* Collaborating with branch managers and engineering teams to deliver supply management programmes (VMI/JIT/Kanban) and tailored product solutions.
* Working with Finance on profitability and Return On Net Assets (RONA) reviews.
Skills & Attributes
* Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
* Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical and data-driven, with experience in CRM and pipeline management.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to foster collaboration across teams.
